Sponsorship Overview
Each year it is expected that over 40,000 people will be touched by the music and programs of the Symphony Orchestra.
Whether season ticket holders, professionals, volunteers, able-disabled, senior citizens, ushers, students in youth chorus, band or orchestra, school classmates, teachers or any individual attending CSO Concerts, listening to public radio, or taking part in a TV viewing audience by delayed broadcasts; ALL make up the CSO FAMILY.
We are proud to serve a diverse audience, providing exceptional music performances and arts education programs to the NCWV area. Ticket sales however, account for less than 40% of the Symphony’s yearly budget. The CSO depends on sponsorships and contributions to its annual fund to help bridge the gap between concert revenue and operating expenses.
By contributing to the Symphony Annual Fund, you enable CSO to provide thousands of people in the Clarksburg area and North Central W.V., with exceptional cultural and educational programs throughout the year. Contributions will be put right to work thru the following Symphony programs:
- ARTISTIC PROGRAMS: Your gift will be used to fund orchestra concert series chamber concerts, sheet music, theatre costs and musicians fees. All of these things are essential to bring symphonic music to life for our audiences.
- YOUTH EDUCATION: In order to build audiences of tomorrow, CSO must reach out to youth of today. Your gift will help fund “Into the Schools Concerts” FREE, “ H.S. Sit Along Side Concert,” “Orchestral Petting Zoo’s” for younger audience members, “Peeping Previews Dress Rehearsal” and instrumental music instruction.
- OPERATIONS: Behind the scenes, a symphony has many needs. Your gift will be used to fund Chamber Concerts, operating costs administrative costs-everything, from marketing our concerts to, buying paper for the copy machine.
